Swati, the director of Desert Rhythms Theatre Company, is an Indian artist. Trained in the media of Drama, Dance and Puppetry and other art forms, she uses her skills to build and perform entertaining shows and workshops for schools, colleges, community groups, art centres, libraries, theatres, festivals, corporate events and other events. Desert Rhythms Theatre Company has been performing all over the UK and abroad for since 1993. Desert Rhythms theatre company has taken special interest in issue based work. Swati has built and performed on the issues like Drinking and Driving, Fair Trade, Racism, Women, Domestic Violence, Mental Health and many more. Desert Rhythms Theatre Company caters for all age ranges/community groups and extends the messeges across the UK mass with the media of arts and entertainment. Our stimulating and colourful performances carry impactful message as well as, pure entertainment (e.g. Indian Marionettes). Our educational and craft workshops are creative, constructive and informative with the aim to raise awareness, self development and enhance people's understading about interesting subjects e.g. art, psychology, philosophy, religion, race relations and mysticism.
